The size 1 has a softer silicone. The cup itself is very soft/bendable. The stem is flat with ridges, which allows for easy gripping during removal

The Lunette menstrual cup is made of medical grade silicone in Finland. It does not contain latex, is odorless and safe. Lunette is easy to use, practical and comfortable.

Lunette has an excellent capacity. You will only need to empty it 2-4 times a day depending on your flow and you can use it overnight and keep for up to 8 hours. Lunette should be cleaned before and after menstruation, and after each emptying. You can clean and disinfect between cycles by short boiling in water or rinsing with alcohol. Lunette allows you to monitor your flow through the measurement lines on the inside of the cup (5ml and 13.5ml in size 1; 7.5ml and 15ml in size 2).

The cup lining is completely smooth and the stem is flat, making cleaning very easy.

Lunette is soft and flexible. However, size 1 is made of softer silicone than size 2. The rim of the Lunette is not very thick which makes it easy to insert. The high-relief knurls in the base will allow you to grab it at the time of extraction if you have cut the stem entirely, making it ideal for beginners. Lunette has a smooth but not slippery surface.
