Merula Cupcup – the cup for your cup.

The small amount of water in the Merula Cupcup begins to boil, causing extremely hot steam to rise and sanitize the menstrual cup. A convenient handle makes it easy to remove the Merula Cupcup from the microwave. Once the menstrual cup has cooled down, it can immediately be used again or stored in the small breathable cotton bag until your next period.

How to use: Fill the Merula Cupcup up to the marking line with clean water. If necessary, add a splash of vinegar to prevent limescale deposits from forming in the menstrual cup and the Merula Cupcup. Place your prewashed menstrual cup on the blue insert with the opening facing down. Close the lid and open the steam valve. Heat the Merula Cupcup in the microwave at 750 watts for 5 minutes. If the wattage is different, adjust the heating time accordingly. Make sure the water in the Merula Cupcup does not evaporate completely. After the heating process, the Merula Cupcup and its contents are extremely hot, and hot water or steam can escape from the cup.

You can also use Merula cupcup to sanitize the menstrual cup with Milton solution. In this case the cup must be fully immerged in the solution. So take off the blue insert and fill the glass with nerly 150 ml of clean water add the mini milton tablet. Immerge the menstrual cup and put the insert upsidedown to keep it fully immerged and put the lid. Do not forget to only leave the cup in the solution by the time indicated to not damage the cup. 

Storage: Store the Merula Cupcup dry and with its lid open.

The material of the Merula Cupcup has been tested according to German standards and meets the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1935 2004, Regulation (EC) 10/2011, and the LFGB. The Merula Cupscup is microwave and dishwasher safe.
